This is made in the same style and tradition of an early style butcher knife made the way things used to be, with quality you can depend on. This knife can be used in the kitchen, barbecue pit, breaking down large game and so on. The blade on this knife is about 7 1/4″ long. It has some light forge pattern and some real nice patina. The handle is about 4 7/8″ long and is beautiful antiqued cherry with 3 brass pins. The spine on this knife is 1/8″ thick and tapers to the tip. The blade width is about 1 7/16″ wide. Overall this knife is about 12″ long. This knife is being sold with NO sheath. This is reflected in the price below. ML Knives Back County Limited to only 12 knives. A beautiful clip point design, great for many field uses from woods work to hunting. Each knife is handled with beautiful tiger maple with 3 brass pins with a nice birds beak grip. Blades have my pattern and patina aged finish with a slight tapered forward swedge/clip at about 1 3/4″ long. Handle lengths are about 4 1/8″ long. Blades about 3 5/8″ long. Overall about 7 7/8″. Each are forged from 1095 high carbon steel. Full tang about 1/8″ thick and sharp enough for ferro rod use. *Each blade is number stamped 01-12* Each comes with an antiqued hand sewn leather sheath with unique tooled face. Backsides are signed, dated and numbered.
